To create the individual animations that I then stitched together I drew each frame individually in photoshop. I played with layer opacity as a replacement for onion skins and made keyframes in different colours so that my pacing was clear. Despite Photoshop being undeveloped for animation, I feel comfortable with it and think that it worked well for this film.
