I looked at 'When Love Arrives', written by Phil Kaye and Sarah Kay and animated by Melvin Alvares. It's much more typography based than the other films that I found, but I still found it relevant to my research. Firstly, I like the idea of representing specific parts of the spoken poem as written words, similarly to Tim Minchin's animated poem, Storm. I think this video specifically paces the visuals well alongside the audio. Something that I really like about the way that this poem is read out is the frequent pauses and stifled laughs. It feels very authentic and matches the themes of the poem, and the animator has portrayed this well by meeting the pauses in audio with pauses in video. Whether I choose to use type based elements, I definitely want to use relevant spacing similar to that used on 'When Love Arrives'.
